I am on a quest of sorts, searching for answers to questions I yet do not know. As a former Bible/Theology and Psychology major with an interest in Philosophy and religion, I have a tendency when my life becomes chaotic, to return to my comfort zone. I take solace in learning from the past, trying to gain understanding in why people believe and think the way they do. My tastes are a bit esoteric and very diverse as I look for clues to explain my experience(s). Some will find what I listen to intriguing, others may say that I tread dangerous waters. I say, I like to keep an open mind,,,as knowledge is power!! In order to build our future, we need to study the past, the thoughts and ideas that brought us to today.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain. ~ Bene Gesserit Litany Against Fear from the novel Dune
